All of our seating inside the tasting room and outside is first come, first serve; we do not take reservations.
Our outdoor seating has limited cover & no rain protection .Please note, outside alcohol, food, and coolers are not permitted on the estate with the exception of birthday cake/cupcakes.
What are your open hours?
We are open 12pm - 6pm on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays year round. Please check our events calendar before you visit, in case of early closings or time changes due to holidays, weather, or private events.
What kinds of wine do you serve?
We focus on delicious, single varietal, dry wines. We may occasionally have a sweet wine or two on our menu, but the majority of our wines are not sweet. As our own vines are still young, we partner with amazing family-owned, sustainably farmed vineyards in NC, VA, and CA to source grapes for great wines for you to enjoy!
Do you accept reservations?
All of our seating is first come, first serve and reservations are not accepted. Please note that access to estate grounds & seating is reserved for paying guests only. If you would like to host a party or event with us, please email our events team at events@veronetwine.com for information about a private rental outside of our normal business hours. To ensure a wonderful wine experience for all guests, we do not allow hosted events during our open hours (to include kids birthdays, engagement parties, gender reveals, family reunions, bridal showers, baby showers, etc.).
Do you serve food?
Yes! We have a menu of delicious made to order items including large charcuterie boards (with vegetarian & vegan options) for 4-6 guests, fruit & cheese boards (always vegetarian) for 2-4 guests, and bruschetta bowls for 1-2 guests. Made to order items are available for ordering until 5pm daily. Please click here to view our current food menu. Our Market offers snacks, jams, cheese spreads, a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, and grab & go bites including picnic box charcuterie, chicken salad bowls, and hummus bowls! Are wine tastings available?
We currently have our tasting flights available at both of our indoor bars daily until 5:30pm. The flight is three half glasses of your choice of three wines. You can choose from one of our pre-selected flight options or pick your own. Please click here to view our menu with wine & flight options. Please note that access to estate grounds & seating is reserved for paying guests only.
May I bring my own food and/or outside drinks to enjoy?
Outside food, alcohol, and coolers are not permitted on the estate (with the exception of birthday cake/cupcakes; however, lit candles are not allowed). Guests are welcome to enjoy freshly made charcuterie, fruit & cheese boards, bruschetta, hummus, chicken salad, and more from our kitchen & market as well as visit our food truck vendors each Saturday & Sunday! Please note that access to estate grounds & seating is reserved for paying guests only. May I host a birthday or special occasion with décor at the winery?
To ensure a wonderful experience for all guests, we do not allow hosted events or outside décor during our open hours. You are welcome to visit and enjoy our wine with a small cake or cupcakes as part of your celebration; however, balloons, signage, tablecloths, floral arrangements, photo frames, banners, poster stands, outside food & drink, coolers, etc. are not allowed during open hours. What transport options are there for a visit?
Due to our rural location, Uber and Lyft are not recommended as transportation options for pick up from the winery. You can expect to wait 2+ hours (if a driver is even available) for a pick up from the winery via Uber or Lyft. Please click here to view a list of recommended transportation services familiar with the estate. Large group vehicles (sprinter van, party bus, limousine, charter bus, motorcoach, etc.) are permitted for drop off/pick up only. These vehicles may not park on estate property; they may park down at the main road or at the dead end of the main road just beyond the vineyard entrance.
May I bring my dog?
Yes! Leashed & well-mannered dogs are always welcome at our outdoor areas. Due to Gaston County Environmental Health policy, only ADA service dogs are permitted inside the tasting room. Dogs must remain in your control at all times, please do not tie them to anything. Dogs are not permitted on any of the furnishings or tables at any time, and please be sure to pick up after your dog. Any guests with an off-leash or aggressive dog will be asked to leave the premises for the safety of their pet & other guests.
Is smoking permitted on the property?
For the safety & comfort of all guests, facilities, and our vines the entire property is non-smoking, including all outdoor areas.
Are children or guests younger than 21 allowed to visit?
Children and guests younger than 21 are permitted on the estate with an accompanying adult over the age of 21. Children under the age of 18 must remain with their party at all times. Children are not permitted to be unsupervised at any time during your visit. Complimentary juice boxes & Goldfish crackers are available at the bar for children under 12, and we have non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase in our Market. Guests under 21 are not permitted to purchase or consume alcohol at any time. Children are not permitted to climb on or jump off of furnishings or go into the vineyard at any time. For the safety of all guests, outside lawn games, sports balls, sidewalk chalk, kites, riding toys, etc are not permitted on the estate. We do have cornhole board sets that we set out for guest use, weather permitting.
Do you serve other drinks besides wine?
Yes! We also have a rotating tap for craft NC beer, seasonal craft beer selections by the can, as well as various non-alcoholic options available for purchase in our Market.
Do you offer table service?
All of our items are served bar style at one of our walk-up bars. Our associates will guide you through our menu, help you make your selections, and serve you right away so you may take your items to enjoy at your table. You may open a tab or close out immediately at time of purchase. All tabs left open at end of day will receive an automatic 20% gratuity charge.
Does your outdoor seating have cover?
Outdoor seating has minimal to no cover in most areas, and our picnic tables & lawn chairs offer no protection from wind or rain. During the summer our tables are covered by cloth umbrellas, however these do not offer rain protection. During the winter we have our heaters, blankets, and fire pits available for guests to enjoy. Please check the weather and plan for your visit accordingly.
May I bring my own chairs or blankets to sit on?
Yes! Guests are welcome to bring their own chairs & blankets to sit on our lawn areas. Please note that beach umbrellas, pop up tents, golf tents, tables, and any items that require staking into the ground are not permitted. Please note that access to estate grounds & seating is reserved for paying guests only.
May I play background music on my own device?
To ensure a wonderful experience for all guests, we do not allow for guests to play amplified music on their own devices while visiting.
Are you ADA accessible?
Yes! We have accessible parking, seating, and facilities available.

Can I rent the estate for a private event?
Yes, the estate is available for private events rental outside of our open hours of 12pm - 6pm on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays.
